“We just spent our first week there and we had the best time ever. The owners are amazing such nice people. It was very relaxing very quiet peaceful place. Playgrounds and swimming for the kids with the dock the kids were so happy. Haven't said everything you need and are very very clean. I would recommend this for anyone.”

“My wife, 3 year old and 3 month just spent 3 beautiful nights here. The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for us and we could fit the pack and play in our room. There is everything you need in the kitchen and the cottage was clean. The screened in porch was perfect for early morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while looking at the pond. The beach was great and they even have a few boats that you are free to use as well as a shed with life jackets, oars and some pool noodles. A nice little floating dock for the kids to jump off and a fire pit on the beach make this a perfect spot that hits all the marks. There are also charcoal grills outside of every cottage and a clothesline to hang your swim stuff. The owners could not have been nicer. Very helpful with great information about all the spots nearby. There is also a market 7 minutes down the road with everything you need and downtown henniker about 8 minutes away. If you are looking for a quiet family getaway, go here for sure.”

“This is a great little spot just 10 minutes from Pat's Peak and right in the middle of prime fall foliage territory. The cabins are cozy and well maintained, really giving you a true New England feel. There is water access with canoes and a fire pit on the beach. A modest recreation cabin has a ping pong table, games, and a TV. There is a large kids' playset with a slide and a swing set as well. The owner is welcoming, pleasant, and quick to respond to communications. Overall, Tall Pines Cottages is a fantastic choice for a quiet romantic weekend, a fun home base for a family vacation, or a friendly place rest your head when you just need to step away from the busy work l world.”

“A beautiful cottage on a scenic pond. The couple who own the cottages are very kind and friendly, always willing to help however they can with anything from local attractions and food recommendations to anything extra you may want in your cabin during your stay. The cabins are well maintained and super clean and cozy. I highly recommend coming and experiencing this all for yourself.”
